Reminder - no chess club next week at St Thomas' 18/3

Please ensure all pupils are aware.

Delancey Results / Draw Complete

This weeks chess club summary.

At St James' this week Jack beat Alyssa in the battle of the unbeaten players. Jack E is now outright leader having won all 4 games but there are 3 players with 3 wins out of 4 looking to take advantage of any slip up (McKenzie, Alyssa and Jarrett). McKenzie's turn next week to see if he can make a difference against Jack. Gabbie is the best year 4 in 5th and William and Eleanor the best placed year 3's in joint 6th.

At St Thomas', Ella now leads the way with 3 out of 3 after beating Kian (who showed great maturity and sportsmanship in defeat - very pleased to see!). Ethan from year 3 has sneaked into 2nd place (very impressive for one so young against some a couple of years older than him). Jacob and Kian will be looking to get back on track and do battle in the next round which will not be for a few weeks now.
